Leadership 2000
This experiential
and highly interactive seminar is designed to equip participants with an
understanding of how to direct, coach, and guide the actions of others,
especially during periods of change. Participants learn how to positively
influence the activities of others.
The objectives of
Leadership 2000 are to develop:
- Behaviors that create effective leaders.
- A common vocabulary that
demonstrates the behavior of an effective leader
- An appreciation of the need
for various Leadership Styles, depending on the ability and motivation of
the other person(s), and the changing requirements of the situation
- Flexibility in leadership
behavior: there is no one best leadership style because results depend on
the leader's appropriate response to the changing situation
Attempting to
influence the activities of others in a positive, motivational, and
empowering manner requires a conscious effort on the part of the leader.
Because of constant
changes in work situations, the ability and motivation of others are
constantly changing. This seminar equips leaders with the skills necessary
to recognize these changes and to respond with the most appropriate
behavior.
Participants build
skills which enable them to:
- Balance the needs of people with the needs of technology
- Choose the behavior that
best meets the needs of the other(s) involved in the situation
- Get results!
When used in the
work place, these practical skills can increase a leader's effectiveness,
personal satisfaction, and organizational credibility.
